Reporting a problem

A report we can act on immediately contains four things: which tool you used, the exact input you gave it, the output you received, and the output you expected instead. Adding your browser and operating system helps when the bug only appears on one engine.

Requesting a new tool

Describe the data you start with and the result you need. "Convert a bank CSV export into a QIF file" is buildable; "more finance tools" is not. Because everything runs client-side, a well-specified tool often ships within days.

Improving an existing tool

• Missing option, format or unit you expected to find.
• Output formatting that does not match the spec or the common convention.
• Performance problems with large inputs.
• Wording, translation or accessibility fixes.
